Congratulations to Jamal D and Grace J (from Burnaby Mountain) who competed at the Queens High School Invitational on Feb. 11th & 12th. They ended the preliminaries with a 5-1 record and went to the U15 finals where they proceeded to win the U15 category! They are going to England to represent Canada for the "International Competition for Young Debaters" at Oxford University.

The 2013 national team tryouts were held on Nov. 28-29, 2011 in Toronto, ON. We had the largest group (27) trying out for one of nine spaces on the 2013 development team. After two days of intense debates, the following students have been offered a spot on the 2013 team:

These nine students will join the three returning members at the summer training camp. The returning members are:
